Accelerating medicinal chemistry by rapid analoging – 11 AM CET

Tuesday December 8th

Time: 11 AM CET

Summary:

Medicinal chemistry is the art of rapidly evolving initial hits to clinical candidates via smart, information driven multiparametric optimization. The success of such a process largely depends both on the quality of the starting points and on the ability to rapidly generate deep SAR and SPR understanding of the compound series. The seminar will highlight how parallel chemistry supports medicinal chemistry endeavors, both it in the area of library design & production and fast analoging initiatives to accelerate the hit exploration and SAR building efforts. We will discuss the advantage of smart library generation, rapid hit expansion and fast analoging, and when projects may benefit of this particular expertise.
