On March 26th we had the Grand Opening of our brand new, state-of-the-art Organix synthetic and analytical chemistry laboratories in Woburn, just outside Boston MA.
The two-story building currently hosts five labs, with a total of 60 fume hoods, as well as a dedicated scale-up lab with five walk-in fume hoods. The building offers further room for expansion, with enough space for an additional 48 fume hoods. These facilities are the latest Symeres hub supporting biotech, pharma and diagnostics companies who are looking for US-based chemistry support for their projects. The building is new, but the team has years of experience working together, providing expertise in complex synthetic organic chemistry, lipid synthesis, controlled substances and polymers.
The new location at 32 Cabot Road, which is just a few miles away from the original facility, has a lot more space to offer (50,000 vs 20,000 sq. ft.). The new building will offer the kind of environment that enables and stimulates the excellent science and creativity that the whole Symeres family is renowned for.
The big move made for an exhilarating few weeks at Organix. Now, things are getting even more exciting with the staff settled in and projects under way. Organix is ready to take on the future!
