Symeres’ employees are working on more than 1000 projects every year. In our state-of-the-art laboratories, we work on a variety of challenging synthetic organic chemistry projects for a global client base.
We are always interested in meeting talented Organic Chemists. Experience in medicinal chemistry, process chemistry, analytical chemistry or complex synthetic organic chemistry (BSc, MSc, or PhD) is preferred.

Inside the platform for Drug Development services, you will lead projects on lipid development and lipid production. The products are unique new ingredients for lipid-nanoparticle-type formulations used by our clients. Together with colleagues, you will work on the development of the chemistry, production, isolation, purification, analytics, release, and reporting. You will take a leading role in managing the execution of projects.

Als Procesoperator chemie ben je verantwoordelijk voor de productie van één van de Symeres producten die routinematig aan klanten wordt geleverd. De hoofdtaak van een procesoperator is het beheersen en controleren van het productieproces, zodat dit gestroomlijnd verloopt. De procesoperator zal op een correcte en veilige manier zorgdragen voor het aanmaken van producten volgens planning en receptuur, zodanig dat wordt voldaan aan de gestelde kwaliteit en kwantiteit.

You will be working closely with other members of the ADME team to provide support for our Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Development teams. You will perform toxicological evaluations of new APIs and will derive OELs for compounds with limited tox data under the supervision of our Head of ADME.

You will work in a team of skilled analytical chemists and use state-of-the-art equipment to develop analytical methods and purify challenging APIs and intermediates. You will advise synthetic chemists on how to analyze and purify their samples. As part of an increasing demand for our services at our location in Prague CZ (Běchovice), we are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Process Chemist - Organic Chemistry (full time).
The Process Chemist is responsible for the design and development of new production processes for investigational drug substances. Together with colleagues in the R&D department, QC department, and in consultation with production, chemical syntheses are converted into safe, robust, and effective production procedures that allow for the preparation of drug substances on a multi-kg scale.

As part of an increasing demand for our services at our location in Prague CZ (Běchovice), we are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Quality Assurance Specialist (full time).
The Quality Assurance Specialist manages the QA aspects of the production of small-molecule APIs for clinical trials or for commercial use. They write, review, approve, and archive documentation for the production and analysis of the products, equipment, facility, and personnel in close collaboration with the Head of QA, Head of QC, and Head of Production.

The AR&D Analyst develops complete analytical packages, appropriate for the cGMP phase of the project, to support the development of process routes and to support production campaigns. These analytical packages may consist of sampling plans, analytical methods, and corresponding validation protocols and stability protocols, and reference standard qualification. The AR&D Analyst works in a multidisciplinary team, where chemical development and analytical development go hand in hand. The key job responsibilities will be development and optimization of analytical methods fit for the intended purpose, providing advice regarding the development of product specifications and System Suitability Test parameters, and writing analytical protocols for stability studies and validations.

As a synthetic organic chemist, you work as part of a project team on the development of safe and scalable synthetic routes for products that are mainly in the early clinical development stage.
Depending on your experience, you will have tasks in the project team, working closely together with the departments of analytical and solid-state chemistry, and manufacturing. In this role, you will be expected to spend the majority of your time doing experimental work.

As part of the increasing demand for our services at our location in Weert (NL), we are currently looking for an experienced Process Engineer (full-time).
The primary focus of the Process Engineer comprises scale-up and commercial cGMP manufacturing activities in the Manufacturing Department. The work is carried out in (extended) dayshifts in the multipurpose facilities at the Kilogram Lab and the Pilot Plant. The Process Engineer reports to the Production Team Leader.

As System Administrator, you are accountable for driving results in a fast-paced environment by ensuring the stability of the in-house computer-server environment. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all server-related hardware and software in a Microsoft Windows Active Directory multidomain environment. You will monitor the systems’ performance and troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure high availability and performance of the systems.
